With Pokémon Champions, Worlds 2026 gives VGC a home of its own
The Pokémon competitive scene will gather in San Francisco from August 28 to 30 for Worlds 2026. For VGC, the event confirms a much larger strategic shift: Pokémon Champions is becoming the persistent center around which The Pokémon Company can organize and evolve competitive play.
