The highly anticipated return of Rockstar Games' cult saga, once again set in a reimagined Vice City for the new generation.
GTA VI is the obvious giant in Take-Two's fiscal year. The interesting part of its August update is how little the company changed around it: November 19 remains the date, and the full-year Net Bookings outlook remains $8.0–$8.2 billion.
This is no longer a single shaky clip disappearing after a copyright notice. GTA VI material has been appearing repeatedly across social media, attracting millions of views while Rockstar approaches one of its biggest planned marketing beats of the year.
A GTA VI leak is no longer an unusual event on its own. The material circulating since August 18 has a more distinctive feature: the people claiming responsibility are not simply publishing images. They are attempting to turn the enormous attention surrounding Rockstar into a platform, leverage and a promotional tool.
Rockstar Games confirms GTA VI will run with full ray-tracing on PS5 and Xbox Series X, a first at this scale for an open world of this size.
